The German cable manufacturer Cordial®, located close to the Bavarian capital Munich, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2015.
Cordial started to manufacture cables in the mid-’90s as a division of Herman Adam GmbH. In the beginning, they produced their first line of cables using their own bulk material and connectors provided by long-time partner Neutrik. Due to the start of business relations with Sennheiser, to which Cordial® provided connectors and confectioned cables for Sennheiser microphones, Cordial® was growing rapidly and became an independent company on January 12, 1995.
In 2005, Cordial® saw a management buyout by Francois Rousies, who became the sole owner and general manager of the company. His vision and deep understanding of the requirements of the market guaranteed sustainable growth for the company.
Today the catalogue features a wide assortment of instrument, microphone, and loudspeaker cables as well as analogue multicore systems, numerous adapters and DMX, MIDI Network-Data, and digital audio protocol cables.
Accoridng to the company, the reliability and quality of the products, German engineered and manufactured bulk cable material and Neutrik components are only a few of the reasons for the success in the market.
Cordial’s® corporate vision emphasizes, above all, reliability, strength, and fairness. There is no lack of social commitment either: For a project aiming at helping orphans in Thailand, Cordial® donated the cabling for an entire studio – and this is only one of several similar projects in which the company is involved.
Cordial’s® packaging is recyclable, biodegradable, and can be composted. Environmental considerations in manufacturing processes, products, and packaging are very important and part of the company’s vision.
As of 1/1/2016, Cordial® is represented in 60 countries worldwide. A very important development is the expansion into the Americas with the USA as one of the highest potential markets in the world.
