Years of intense practicing and dedication have paid off for the Guatemala based Ramos. In 2009, he took 2nd place in the international Guitar Idol, held in London at the age of 17. He was the youngest of the finalist and that success led him to numerous product endorsements and playing opportunities. Noted guitarists such as Jennifer Batten and Andy James have made guest appearances on his CD’s, he has now shared the stage with Switchfoot, Kansas, and Guns and Roses and the video game Rock Band teamed with him to release his own version of the game. In 2011 Sir Christopher Lee, noted for his acting role as Count Dracula and Lord Saruman in Lord of the Rings hired Ramos to take on lead guitar duties on his latest album, Charlemagne: The Omens of Death.
