D'Addario is proud to announce a new OEM partnership with one of the world's leading guitar manufacturers, ESP Inc. ESP Inc. is already using D’Addario strings on their imported LTD product line, and on their high-end USA production, they will use D’Addario’s NYXL strings.

"As part of the emerging OEM partnership between ESP USA and D'Addario, ESP is proud to include D'Addario NYXL strings on every ESP USA Series guitar built at ESP's newly opened California shop," says Eric Oppenheimer, Product Manager at ESP. “In addition to our ESP USA guitars including these strings as part of our pristine factory setup, we're also including a spare set of the NYXL's in each custom hardshell case to match the set installed on every guitar."

At the 2014 Winter NAMM show, the ESP Guitar Company announced the opening of their first-ever USA-based factory. The new ESP USA factory is located in North Hollywood, California, a short distance from the company’s USA headquarters. The factory is producing a new line of ESP USA guitars, a new brand which was added to ESP’s existing worldwide brands, including ESP, LTD, and the new E-II series. The world-renowned ESP custom shop will remain in its current location in Tokyo. The new USA facility is crafting a series of production models on a limited basis during its first year of operation, ramping up as demand for the new line increases. ESP USA instruments are initially available through a select group of ESP dealers.

"ESP instruments are built to rock, and the quality of their USA series is insane!" raves Evan Skopp, President of Inside Track, D'Addario's OEM Sales Representatives. “These American-crafted guitars perfectly embody the 'Play Fearlessly' spirit of D'Addario's new NYXL strings."

By partnering with companies like ESP, D’Addario continues its efforts to foster creativity and performance worldwide with USA-made products.

D’Addario & Company, Inc. is the world's largest manufacturer of musical instrument accessories marketed under seven product divisions: D'Addario Fretted, D'Addario Orchestral, Evans Drumheads, Promark Drumsticks, Puresound, D'Addario Woodwinds, and D'Addario Planet Waves Accessories. A family-owned and operated business with more than 1,100 employees worldwide, the company manufactures 95% of its products in the U.S. employing Toyota’s Lean manufacturing principles. D’Addario has a distribution network in 120 countries and serves more than 3,000 U.S. retailers, all major e-commerce sites, and more than 3,000 endorsing artists.
