D’Addario is launching Humiditrak – a new climate monitoring system designed to decrease environment-related damage to musical instruments with real time temperature and humidity updates via Bluetooth.
By placing the small Humiditrak device in any case or musical instrument, real-time condition updates can be viewed from the system’s free smart phone application. When Humiditrak detects that an instrument is in dangerous conditions, a push notification is sent to the player’s phone, allowing them to take action before damage occurs.
Available now, the Humiditrak System will retail for £56.
