D’Addario is thrilled to announce the launch of a new series of limited-edition picks and straps commemorating The Beatles iconic impromptu rooftop concert in line with the release of the Peter Jackson documentary, The Beatles: Get Back, set to premiere this November.
On a cold January afternoon in 1969, The Beatles took to the roof of the Apple Corps headquarters in London for what would be their final public performance. The band treated onlookers from five floors up to an iconic set of five classic songs: Get Back, Dig a Pony, Don’t Let Me Down, I’ve Got a Feeling and One After 909.
These limited-edition straps and picks feature a screen-printed cotton strap, a printed vegan vinyl strap, and a 10-pack of celluloid picks printed with a song title from the rooftop setlist. Picks are available in light, medium, and heavy gauges.
The “Get Back” collection joins a wide variety of other products of The Beatles, including the Yellow Submarine 50thAnniversary, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club, Revolver, Abbey Road, and more.
