The Daishichi Sake Lounge, a stunning new venue blending the worlds of sake, music, and art, recently celebrated its soft opening with an unforgettable evening of culture and performance. At the heart of the night’s entertainment was the Kayserburg GH188A 6’2” Heritage Series Grand Piano, complementing remarkable vocal performances by Meritorious Artist Ánh Tuyết and contemporary pop star Đoan Trang.

Daishichi Sake, the legendary 272-year-old Japanese sake brand, envisioned the lounge as a cultural crossroads where the elegance of sake meets the vibrancy of visual and performing arts. The space features an array of valuable works by renowned Vietnamese artists, including Ho Huu Thu, Nguyen Lam, and over 20 other acclaimed painters, creating an ambiance that inspires creativity and connection.

The grand opening event left a lasting impression on an esteemed guest list that included Hideharu Ohta, the tenth-generation President of Daishichi Sake Brewery; Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy Chief of the Government’s Southern Administrative Office; Daniël Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in Vietnam; retired police colonel and art patron Truong Van Thuan; and Lai Nguyen, President & CEO of Vinatoken, Vietnam’s leading supplier of non-woven fabrics.

At the heart of the performances was the Kayserburg GH188A, supplied by TED SAIGON, Vietnam’s official distributor of world-class pianos. Crafted with precision and passion, the GH188A boasts Röslau wire, German Renner hammers, and an all-spruce tapered soundboard. These elements create a warm, clear, distinct tone with impeccable playability. Additionally, the piano offers an optional self-playing mode, delivering extraordinary musical experiences for venues, auditoriums, schools, or private homes.

“The Kayserburg GH188A’s exceptional craftsmanship and tone quality made it the perfect choice for this landmark occasion,” said Leng Tshua, Director of Global Sales and Marketing at Pearl River Piano Group. “We are honored to partner with such an iconic brand and venue to bring the magic of live music to life.”

The Daishichi Sake Lounge promises to be a premier destination in Ho Chi Minh City, where the finest sake, art, and music converge. With its world-class features and a commitment to cultural enrichment, the lounge sets a new standard for experiential venues in Vietnam.
