DANSR, inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Seth Swartz to Vice President and Controller. Seth will manage the accounting department, human resource oversight, and information technology. He attended Parkland College where he received his associate degree in business, then attended the University of Illinois and received his bachelors and master’s degrees in accounting, with a concentration in taxation. Seth passed the CPA exam less than a month after graduating with his master’s degree. He worked for a national accounting firm for several years before moving to DANSR and assuming the controller position. Seth also serves as the treasurer of the board for University Baptist Church and Foundation in Champaign. Seth has had a passion for accounting since his first accounting course in high school and he also has a passion for helping people navigate the tax code to save money. “We are very lucky to have a man like Seth that possesses such a broad skill set,” commented DANSR president Michael Skinner. “Since Seth arrived, our efficiency in reporting, our improved software platforms as well as other areas have all improved under his guidance.”
