Deering Announces ‘String Dealership’ Program

Deering Banjo Company has formally announced the launch of its Deering Banjo String Dealership for all music stores. Deering, the worlds largest manufacturer of US made banjos, has been working closely with Dunlop Strings to develop eight custom sets of strings made to Deering’s own specifications. Dealers will be able to choose from 5­string light, 5­string medium, plectrum, tenor ­ standard tuning, tenor ­ Irish tuning, 6­string, Tenbrooks Series, and Terry Baucom Signature Set banjo strings, all presented in distinctive Deering branded packaging.

The minimum order to come on board as a Deering String Dealer is only 4 boxes (12 sets of strings per box) of Deering banjo strings, and only 2 varieties out of 8 must be ordered. Deering Banjo String Dealers need not to carry any banjos in stock to come onboard and all Deering String Dealers will be featured on the Deering Banjos website at deeringbanjos.com/dealers

Deering Banjo’s collaboration with Dunlop Strings is intended to develop strings that will bring out the best in banjo tone, producing bold, crisp, and consistent note clarity. Constructed of high­grade nickel plated steel, the strings are extremely durable, very easy to play, and retain their pitch, making tuning issues with string bending and other techniques a thing of the past. Each string is packaged inpidually to maintain freshness and making ease of installation a breeze.
