EarthQuaker Devices will host the third-annual EarthQuaker Day at their downtown Akron facility (350 W. Bowery St.) on Saturday August 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Immediately following the event at EarthQuaker HQ, the party moves to Lock 3 for the PRS Guitars EarthQuaker Day Riff Contest Finals.
New for 2018, attendees will have the opportunity to register online for Pedal Building Workshops to build an Arrows pre-amp booster, Acapulco Gold™power-amp distortion, or Speaker Cranker overdrive under the expert guidance of EQD’s production staff. Participants will learn the same methods and techniques used by EQD builders every day, and best of all, it’s new pedal day. Click here for more information and to register.
Music lovers of all ages are invited to EarthQuaker Devices HQ for live music, local art and business installations, food by Square Scullery, Bent Tree Coffee, guided workshop tours, pedal doodles, free raffle prizes, door prize giveaways, pedal clinics, single-day savings on EarthQuaker Devices effects pedals, fun and games!
Attendees are encouraged to donate their like-new or gently-used musical instruments to 91.3’s MusicAlive program to help provide musical education for Akron Public School students in need.
