EMG Pickups, Inc. has promoted Alison Turner to vice president of North American Sales.
Turner started formally with EMG in 2013, but she attended her first NAMM show on behalf of EMG as early as 1995. Her father Rob Turner started EMG Pickups in 1976. After graduating business school in California, she spent a summer interning with D’Addario. Over the last five years she has grown EMG’s social presence and has emphasized a “customer first” ethos helping both dealers and end users to appreciate EMG’s customer support (service).
As the next generation, Turner is looking to carry on the legacy of the EMG brand in her new role as vice president of North American Sales. She will continue to put customer service first and further build on the quality and innovation her father first created out of his parent’s garage in Long Beach, California.
“We hired Alison because she can play guitar better than she can play drums- I’m the drummer in the band… plus she brings her dog to work,” says Rob Turner.
