Eventide H90 Harmonizer

At NAMM booth #5434, Eventide Audio will debut the H90 Effects Pedal (its next-generation Harmonizer®) and its innovative instrument/sequencer, Misha™. At NAMM booth #15700, the brand will be demonstrating its plug-ins including the TEC Award-nominated SplitEQ and the Newfangled suite of plug-ins, as well its flagship studio processor, the H9000.

Compact yet feature-rich, the H90 is Eventide’s follow-up to the TEC Award-winning H9 Max Harmonizer, and it is loaded with over 60 effect algorithms and hundreds of program combinations curated for a variety of instruments and genres. Its multi-core architecture gives the H90 the power to run two powerful algorithms at once. Its features include flexible routing options, an intuitive UI designed for players and a built-in tuner.

Being introduced for the first time is the H90’s newest algorithm, PolyFlex, a polyphonic pitch shifter that allows users to bend a chord into a new harmony, perform polyphonic dive bombs, or transform a guitar into a pedal steel. With Polyflex, the H90 now has 63 algorithms, including 11 new ones alongside the H9 Max’s 52 algorithms.

Eventide’s novel Misha instrument/sequencer will be demonstrated by two friends-of-Eventide: MIDI guru Steve De Furia and sound designer Richard Devine. Since its release last summer, dozens of artists have discovered, for the first time, what it’s like to “play” music easily and simply. A Misha software release is now available as a public beta. It includes a requested feature or two as well as fixes.

Eventide will be conducting demos of these products throughout the show at its booth #5434 including these featured artists:

  • Felix Martin, Friday, April 14, at 12:30 PM
Venezuelan guitarist & band trio based out of Los Angeles. Their unique and versatile style consists of an eclectic metal sound with Latin music and jazz/fusion genre mixes.
  • Richard Devine, Friday, April 14, at 2 PM
Atlanta-based electronic musician and sound designer recognized for producing a layered and heavily processed sound that combines influences from glitch music to modern electronic music.
  • Doug Wimbish, Friday, April 14 & 15, at 4 PM
Bassist for the GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Living Colour, the legendary hip hop label Sugarhill Records, Tackhead and DMD the Vibes.
