The NASMD Board of Directors convened in St. George, Utah for its annual mid-year meeting in October. All who traveled stayed safe and healthy, and enjoyed the opportunity to hike in nearby Snow Canyon Park and enjoy the natural wonders of the area.

There’s exciting news to share! The 2021 convention has been moved stateside and will be held at the beautiful Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge in Buford, Georgia, March 17-20. Says NASMD President Whitney Grisaffi, “We had a great program planned for this past March which was canceled in the early days of the pandemic. We’ll be presenting a number of those previously planned sessions and supplementing with additional relevant topics for today’s business climate. 2020-2021 program chair CJ Averwater worked hard this spring to bring valuable educational sessions to our members and offer continued support to our sponsors. We are grateful to everyone who participated.”
The board had a lot of work to do in 2 1/2 short days to plan the convention two different ways. Plan A will be an in-person meeting utilizing more space for social distancing. It may also include some live streaming of speakers and pre-recorded videos that can be shared. Plan B will be for an all-virtual convention if travel and in-person meetings are restricted.
Save the dates, March 17-20, 2021, and make plans to attend the 2021 NASMD Convention!
