Fender has launched a new line of six effects pedals: the Pugilist Distortion, the level Set Buffer, The Bends Compressor, the Marine Layer Reverb, the Sana Ana Overdrive, and the Mirror Image Delay.
All six pedals were designed by in-house pedals experts in Southern California, and range in price from $99.99 to $199.99. Main features include LED Fender amp jewels, lightweight, durable anodized aluminum enclosures engineered for heavy-duty use, LED-backlit knobs, and an exclusive, patent-applied-for, magnetically-latched 9V battery door.
This marks Fender’s official entrance into the category with all-original circuits designed by in-house experts – the first of many in a long-term commitment to the category and sonic innovation.
This line started as a passion project in the garage of one of Fender’s own innovators, Stan Cotey, who has spent 25 years in the professional audio industry, working on projects with Eric Clapton, The Edge and Joe Bonamassa.
