Five Star Guitars is now the first and only Powers Electric dealer in the Pacific Northwest. This is a brand-new project from Andy Powers, the Master Builder, CEO, and President of Taylor Guitars—and someone Five Star Guitars has had the privilege of working closely with for nearly a decade.
Inspired by the surf, skate, and hot rod culture of San Diego, the Powers Electric A-Type is a fully original electric guitar designed from the ground up. Every detail—from the asymmetrical split-radius fretboard to the hand-voiced pickups and hollowbody construction—was built with feel, playability, and tone in mind.
