Gator has expanded its ONYX Series of DJ flight cases with three new models, offering custom-fit protection for the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 media player, DJM-A9 mixer and the newly released AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ four-channel controller. Introduced earlier this year, the ONYX Series builds on Gator’s G-TOUR Series heritage with a sleek blackout aesthetic.
Each new case is engineered for a precise fit, using dense EVA foam to protect gear from shock, vibration and transport impact. The rugged exterior features commercial-grade black hardware, red recessed twist latches and spring-loaded rubber-grip handles. Models for the DJM-A9 and XDJ-AZ include removable front panels for direct access to inputs, outputs and controls during setup and soundcheck.
The ONYX cases for the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 deliver streamlined, road-ready protection with the same rugged construction and tailored interior fit found throughout the series. The AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ case introduces the first ONYX model designed specifically for AlphaTheta’s flagship controller and adds tilt-back wheels for easier transport.
