The organiser of The Guitar Show – held at Bingley Hall in Birmingham at the end of February – say this year’s show was its busiest yet, and has announced expansion plans for 2017.
Althought there are no visitor or exhibitors numbers available, the firm says such was the response from visitors and exhibitors to the show (which featured Thin Lizzy legend Scott Gorham and an array of big name brands including Fender, PRS, Marshall and Orange showcasing new gear) that next year will see the addition of a dedicated acoustic area.
Show manager Jason Hunt from Torn & Frayed Events said: “I was delighted with this year’s event and I’m pleased to announce that we’ll be expanding with an acoustic-only area in 2017. It will give visitors the chance to try some incredible instruments from major brands and UK luthiers in their own, quieter space – and allow other exhibitors to grow their stands on the existing show floor.”
