Venvell Moves up to Sales Director at Hal Leonard MGB

Hal Leonard MGB has promoted Tom Venvell to the position of sales director.

In an expanded role, Venvell will oversee all aspects of the company’s sales operations throughout the UK and rest of Europe.

Venvell joined the firm in 2011 and became a member of the UK sales team. In 2015 he was promoted to Trade Sales & Marketing Manager – Europe, at Hal Leonard MGB.

He has played an increasingly active role in contributing to the company’s sales and marketing strategy in Europe which has led to an expansion of its trade distribution, the successful launch of European retail racking programs, new sales channels and a significant increase in the sales of Hal Leonard publications throughout all territories. His new role will build on this and include direct responsibility for all sales and marketing related functions.

Venvell will continue to be based in Hal Leonard’s London office, working closely with the company’s sales and distribution teams at locations in Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Italy, as well as connecting with Hal Leonard’s sales operations in the US, Australia and elsewhere in the world.
