Hawaiian Ukulele & Guitar unveils its all-new Solid Cedar and Rosewood Ukulele in standard as well as Pineapple styles at the 2022 NAMM Show. Designed to fit a variety of playing styles, this ukulele combines the popular acoustic guitar wood of cedar with the highly sought-after tonal characteristics of rosewood to deliver a beautifully balanced instrument.

Since 2011, Hawaiian Ukulele & Guitar has been combining modern preferences with time-honored Hawaiian traditions. HUG is thrilled to return in person to the 2022 NAMM Show in Anaheim, Calif. on June 3, with its Solid Cedar and Rosewood Ukulele in tow. Acoustic guitar enthusiasts will appreciate this ukulele’s cedar top, which is known to give acoustic guitars a softer, rounded sound compared to spruce. HUG has selected laminate rosewood for the sides and back, further enhancing the instrument’s warm tones. Each size, the 24-inch-scale concert and 26-inch-scale tenor, is finished with a wood and abalone binding for a splash of sophistication.

Any player looking to get as close to a truly authentic Hawaiian look and feel as possible will appreciate the Pineapple style of the Cedar and Rosewood Ukulele, also available in both concert and tenor sizes. Delightfully round and visually intriguing, the pineapple shape is more than just a novelty, offering body depth that helps maximize the volume of performances.

The C-shaped mahogany neck of the Solid Cedar and Rosewood Ukulele provides a strong, balanced tone, complete with a synthetic walnut fretboard that’s matched by a corresponding bridge that enhances sustain. A thin layer of high-gloss lacquer provides a subtle finish that protects the instrument and allows the tones to fully resonate. Topping it off, each Cedar and Rosewood Ukulele comes with HUG’s signature Ocean Wave headstock and reliable enclosed gear tuners.

Hawaiian Ukulele & Guitar invites players to pick up the Solid Cedar and Rosewood Ukulele and experience the breezy sounds of summer with an authentic, handcrafted instrument.
