This Thursday, February 23rd at 6PM CET Hohner Harmonica is hosting a live stream on their YouTube and Facebook accounts to celebrate the launch of their latest harmonica, the Golden Melody Progressive. The Golden Melody, or “The Soloist’s Dream Machine” is the first redesign of the original Golden Harmonica since its release in the 1970s. The Golden Melody Progressive is the ideal harmonica for single note solo playing. It is the only diatonic model tuned to equal temperament, making it a favorite with jazz harpists who need to play in tune with other instruments in all positions.
Thursday’s livestream will feature an incredible lineup of young musicians who will perform on the new Golden Melody including Konstantin Reinfeld, Julia Dill, Indiara Sfair and Rachelle Plas (Regarded as one of the best harmonica players in the world, featured on the current and new retail box cover for the Golden Melody). Attendees will experience the new level of sound, comfort, and design in the harmonica world with this new instrument. Special guests Mickey Raphael (Long time accompanist to Willie Nelson and Chris Stapleton), Liam Ward and Gerhard Müller will be making an appearance as well to shape out the night of music and magic.
