Hoshino U.S.A. Celebrates its 50th Anniversary with Release of Custom Ibanez Guitars and Basses from Their LA & Japan Custom Shops

Hoshino U.S.A., the American subsidiary of Hoshino Gakki and U.S.-based distributor of Ibanez Guitars and TAMA drums, is celebrating its 50^th anniversary in 2022. To honor this noteworthy milestone, Hoshino U.S.A. has arranged for the creation of an expansive collection of extremely special, hand-crafted, custom instruments. Just as no two years are ever exactly the same, each one of these guitars and basses are totally unique from one another. They are instilled with their own unique style and feature set, principally inspired by the master luthiers who built them. To celebrate 50 years of an international partnership in music, the project was shared between the Ibanez L.A. Custom Shop and the Ibanez Japan Custom Shop in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. This awe-inspiring collection of instruments is unlike anything Ibanez has undertaken previously, and they amount to the largest single run of custom instruments Ibanez has ever produced. They will be unveiled to the public for the first time in February of 2022, at which point the guitars will be made available to dealers. So, unlike many of the prized instruments that come from these facilities, they will ultimately be available to the public for purchase.
