Gator Cases, a subsidiary of Gator Co., is launching its ICON Series professional percussion solutions drum bags. This new line addresses the practical everyday needs of professional drummers, focusing on reliable protection and straightforward usability.

The new ICON Series drum bags are constructed from premium-grade, reliable materials. These bags use robust 1000D black nylon on the exterior, a material renowned for its use in US military gear and exceptional durability. This material ensures remarkable resistance to wear and tear, providing effective protection for drums against the challenges of touring and professional gigging. Additionally, the bags are reinforced with a rubber-coated base to act as an extra safeguard.

A key feature in the ICON Series drum bags is their sloping zipper design, which not only enhances drum access but also helps maintain the bag’s shape to make placing each drum in the bag effortless. This feature significantly streamlines both setup and teardown. Each bag is lined with soft micro-velvet, providing a plush and secure resting place for the drums, while the bright red interior improves visibility in low-light conditions.

Each bag has a clearly marked exterior sizing tag for quick identification. Specialized snare drum bags come with a built-in drumhead storage pouch, which addresses the need for a dedicated and easily accessible space for storing a backup snare head.

The ICON Series launch includes an impressive lineup of 45 unique SKUs. This extensive range encompasses 11 rack tom sizes, seven floor tom sizes, eight kick drum sizes, and seven snare sizes. Additionally, Gator Cases is offering three, separate drum kit bundles – specifically tailored for bop, rock, and jazz configurations.

This expansion of drum bags also includes additions to the MiZone series economy line, now featuring a comprehensive range of new bag sizes. This addition brings 4 new bass drum bags, 4 rack tom bags, and 1 floor tom bag to the series, broadening the choices for drummers. The MiZone series has also been updated with 3 drum kit bag sets – Bop, Jazz Fusion, and Rock configurations.

“We’re thrilled to bring Gator’s ICON Series drum bags to the market. Drummers will enjoy the convenience of a durable and lightweight drum bag that’s great for tight situations like when they need to fit their kit in the back of the car,” explains Product Manager Vinnie Del Buono. “The ultra-thick padding allows the bags to maintain their shape, so getting drums in and out is a simple process. Combined with the sloping zipper design, drummers will appreciate this functionality for a quick setup and tear down at a gig or when they’re pressed for time.”
