Jensen has announced the release of the Jensen Speaker Interactive Player, the “JSIP.” The JSIP is a free, online, interactive engine that allows the user to compare 12 Jensen Jet speakers in different guitars and amplifiers. Powered by Tonepedia technology, JSIP is based on real recordings of guitars, amplifiers and speakers recorded using state-of-the-art equipment. There is no use of digital simulations, modeling, profiling or impulse response technologies – all players hear are the real tones of the speakers, recorded without any equalization, compression, or effects, so they can easily evaluate which one to choose.
