JHS is delighted to announce its appointment as exclusive distributor for Kustom amplification, offering new lines from this legendary amplifier brand with a legacy dating back to the early ’60s, when company founder Bud Ross raised many an eyebrow with the first Kustom amps and cabs with the now classic, colourful Naugahyde material covering, soon named by musicians as the tuck ‘n’ roll finish.

Now with a modern approach to exceptional instrument amplification designs, Kustom cater for a diverse range of musical styles including the new KMOD20 1 x 8″ combo, packed with a host of cab sims/24 on-board presets and believed to be the world’s easiest-to-operate modelling guitar combo.

New lines also include the superb Sienna Pro Series of acoustic guitar combos.  Offered with a choice of outputs, speaker sizes, Chorus/Reverb or complete DSP digital effects section, all Sienna Pro Series models look cool with a tan covering, fawn ‘weaved’ speaker grill, leather handle and all-wood control panel. Ukulele players need not feel left out, as the compact KUA10 mains/battery powered combo with adjustable shoulder strap and piezo pickup, is the ideal portable ‘gig anywhere’ solution.

Playing at home or a full-blown gig, the Kustom KBX Series has it covered, offering superior build bass guitar combos with exceptional tonal response and dynamics, with outputs from 10-100 watts and 3 or 4 band EQ, whilst the 50w 1×10″ Kustom KDA50 combo with sensitive 3 band EQ + Piezo horn, has been specifically designed to deliver the best response from electronic drum kits.

A comprehensive range of heads, cabs and combos from the much-loved Kustom Defender and KG Series are also now available.

JHS Managing Director Dennis Drumm commented:

“JHS are delighted to rekindle their decades old partnership with Hanser Music Group, the owners of the Kustom brand since the mid-eighties. Kustom’s reputation is legendary, always recognised for an innovative, feature rich and value led approach to product design, backed up by a very high benchmark in manufacturing quality and product reliability.”

Ted Burger, President, Hanser Music Group says:

“We are very excited to have JHS representing Kustom Amplification in many key European territories. Kustom and JHS share a long history together so we are confident that JHS will be a key factor in the growth and success of the Kustom brand.”
