JodyJazz, a saxophone mouthpiece brand, has announced a significant expansion of its international business in 2014. The company reported a 20% increase in sales overall and that now for the first time over 0% of its business was being done in overseas markets. In addition to its expanded international sales activities, the company credits the endorsement of several of the most influential saxophone players in many major markets for the stimulation of its international business.
JodyJaz’s newest international Endorser Artists include top players; Magnus Lindgren (Sweden), Gaoyang Li (China), Kunikazu Tanaka (Japan), Rodrigo Bento, Rubens Mariano, Hamilton Faria, Victor Aguiar and Sintia Picin (Brazil), Pedro Aviles (Mexico), Xose Miguelez (Spain), Shen-Yu Su (Taiwan), and Abel Garcia (Peru).
“These are al truly great players in their own right and represent a broad spectrum of musical styles from Funk, Latin and Pop to smooth Jaz, modern Jaz and straight ahead,” said company founder and president Jody Espina.
Today the company regularly exhibits at the Frankfurt Musikmese and the Music China Trade Fair in Shanghai. In 2014 the company also exhibited for the first time at the ExpoMusic show in Brazil, Latin America's largest and most significant music products trade fair. In 2015, the company has plans to only further expand its international business with visits to several other new overseas markets planned. Furthermore, in addition to the Germany, Brazil and China shows, JodyJazz wil also exhibit at the 2015 World Saxophone Congres & Festival in Strasbourg, France.
