Korg USA announces the hiring of Andrew Moore as International Sales Manager for Aguilar Musical Instruments and Spector Musical Instruments. In this new role, Moore will be responsible for Spector and Aguilar sales in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, serving as the central point of contact for distributor accounts in these markets.
“Andrew will work closely with the SMI and AMI teams to develop each brand in these international markets,” said Matt Phillips, Director of Sales at Korg USA, adding that Moore will be based out of his home office in Buffalo, N.Y.
Moore joins Korg USA with more than 10 years of industry experience, including a seven-year tenure at D’Addario & Co. in Farmingdale, N.Y. In his most recent role of Territory Sales Manager, he built relationships with approximately 300 customer accounts, including national chains, distributors, manufacturers, and independent retailers. Moore gained extensive customer service experience at D’Addario, previously serving in the roles of Band & Orchestra Sales Specialist, National Accounts Sales Specialist, and Account Executive, and achieving sales growth milestones in each of these positions. Prior to D’Addario, Moore entered the music retail industry as a Product Specialist at Generations Music in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area, quickly earning a promotion to Sales Manager and successfully growing the retailer’s lesson program by 35%.
A passionate bass player of more than 25 years, Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business from the State University of New York at Fredonia, with a minor in Jazz Performance and concentrations in Music Technology and Public Relations.
