As part of Korg USA’s ongoing plan for strategic growth, the company has announced the promotion of industry veteran James Sajeva to director of Technology Brands for Korg USA, Inc.

Most recently, Sajeva was brand manager for Korg Technology Products. The move is a planned component of Korg USA’s aim to unify all aspects of their growth within this market segment.

Sajeva’s responsibilities now extend beyond the Korg brand and will include overseeing additional technology brands the company will look to distribute. As the newest member of Korg USA’s team of directors, James will also hold a vital role in overall strategic planning and company initiatives.

Sajeva has been with Korg USA for nearly 20 years; rising up through the company while holding various positions focused on guiding Korg’s product portfolio towards increased levels of success.  He has also played an integral role in the logistical planning and execution of Korg USA’s presence at the Winter NAMM show during his tenure with the company.

“James is a unique talent with impressive product expertise, a passion for the industry, as well as extensive scope of knowledge as it relates to consumer and competitive trends that impact our business,” stated Andy Rossi, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for Korg USA. “His contributions to the success of the Korg brand, the relationships he has built with our national and international colleagues, and his keen mind for detail and planning results in James being the perfect person to be our Director of Technology Brands.”

“We are excited about the benefits this strategic change will bring to the business, our dealers, and, most importantly, our customers,” added Rossi.“Korg was helping to fuel my musical passion well before it became my career, and it is an honor to be a part of such a talented and progressive company. I am looking forward to keeping Korg USA optimized for growth and contributing to future product successes in this new capacity,” stated Sajeva. “Along with ongoing development of our existing lines, we are continually looking to grow Korg USA’s family of brands in order to create more win/win scenarios for our dealers and customers.  We are always seeking out brands which could benefit from the comprehensive services Korg USA offers,” Sajeva added.

Sajeva has been an avid keyboard player/pianist since the age of eight and purchased his first Korg product at age 16, when he saved up enough money to buy an M1 Music Workstation. Now a multi-instrumentalist, James loves to continually expand his musical and technical knowledge through the exploration and utilization of different musical instruments and interfaces, and spends much of his time outside of Korg USA performing, producing, and songwriting.
