Las Vegas Trumpet/Flugelhorn artist Dave Perrico and his ensemble of 12 talented musicians, Pop Strings Evolution, presented a master class featuring two new Phaeton models.
The event took place at Family Music Center in Las Vegas and featured the introduction of 2 new Phaeton models: PHT-LV 1200 Trumpet and PHTF-LV 2800 Flugelhorn. More than 60 visitors/educators/players were in attendance for this outstanding event.
David played/demonstrated both horns and explained the new innovative features of each in detail to a captivated audience of enthusiastic music lovers.
The LV trumpet, designed by Perrico, has a revolutionary conical design whereby the bore size at the piston cluster starts at .460 and graduates to a .470 beyond the main tuning slide. This unique design offers any player a smoother transition of sound/timbre from the traditional ML size to a huge solid projection at the bell flare.
The Flugelhorn is our newest upgrade for most demanding players. It’s reconfigured trigger mechanism is as smooth as silk and the “slotting” is perfect. Both horns come in our exclusive hand finished brush brass and a custom designer case.
The event lasted almost two hours with solo performances by Perrico and his lead tenor sax man who was checking out a Sax Dakota raw bronze model. The Pop Strings women performed solo and ensemble compositions and backed up David for the entire event.
