InMusic, has appointed Jeremy Lumsden as international channel manager for global markets.
His new role will be to support and expand the business with Akai Professional’s and M-Audio’s channel distribution partners in critical markets worldwide. Previously he was sales and marketing director for Focusrite Novation and prior to that SE Electronics/Sonic Distribution.
InMusic’s executive vice president of International Operations, Richard Seymour, said: “The key to resounding marketplace success in a hotly-competitive business is to have precisely the right people in precisely the right positions. We are extremely confident that Jeremy Lumsden is the right person for us, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have the benefit of his professionalism and experience.”
Lumsden added: “I am delighted to be joining the inMusic family. Already, I can feel the passion within the organisation to deliver products that meet and exceed the needs of our customers. Like many thousands of musicians, I am a fan of the expressive capability and workflow of Akai products and I have been using their MPCs for 20 years.
“As for M-Audio, it has an unparalleled history of delivering premium, market-leading products at price points that help democratise creativity. I am very much looking forward to supporting our channel distribution partners from both an Akai and M-Audio perspective and growing their business.”
