IMS Technologies and Christopher™ Speakers are proud to announce that rock icon Mark Slaughter has signed on as an endorser and as a retailer for these dynamic referencing speakers.
After meeting with IMS Technologies’ Jeff Millar-Sax and Joshua Eagan at the 2015 Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, Mr. Slaughter obtained a pair of the speakers along with a copy of “Giving Shelter” the charity album that was mixed on them. “I was so blown away by the quality and clarity of these speakers and how great the album sounded that I felt compelled to not only endorse them but also to help bring them to market.” said Slaughter. “I’ve spent enough time in enough studios to know that Christopher Speakers match or exceed just about any other speakers with which I’ve mixed or mastered projects. I also appreciate that IMS is donating a portion of each sale to a fund to help cancer patients and their families. That is important and should be supported.”
IMS’ Jeff Millar-Sax stated that “having such a well respected musician as Mark on board will definitely help spread the word. Not only is he a singular talent who is a ‘musician’s musician’ but he’s also one of the most decent people I’ve had the pleasure to know. Mark and the amazing Kenni DeNile have built a new website for the speakers and Mark is opening a “listening room” in the Nashville area. We should have more details in time for summer NAMM 2016.”
Joshua Eagan added: “Now we have a room at the iconic Steak House Recording Studio in North Hollywood and an upcoming room in Nashville where prospective studio owners, schools, places of worship and hi-end audiophiles may go to listen to these speakers.”
Christopher speakers are packed with features including internal transmission line chambers that eliminate the need for subwoofers, ultra high-end drivers, custom high-frequency attenuators that fine tune the “sound stage” of the listening area, and are priced thousands of dollars less than comparable studio mastering quality speakers. They are also made in the USA.
Learn more and listen to these speakers at the IMS Technologies booth (#32) at the upcoming Summer NAMM Show.
