Drummer, producer, composer and producer Matt Chamberlain is now a Vater endorsing artist. Chamberlain is a prominent performer and studio musician whose eclectic skillset found him working in a wide range of genres from rock to classical to jazz to avant-garde.
Matt Chamberlain’s musical credits make up an extremely long and always growing list of albums, radio hits and tours. Matt has worked with artists such as David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Fiona Apple, Soundgarden, Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Peter Gabriel, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Robert Fripp, Tori Amos, Morrissey, George Clinton, Mike Watt, Elvis Costello, Pearl Jam, Edie Brickell and New Bohemians, Kanye West, Sean Lennon, Sarah Bareilles, Chris Cornell, Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen, A Perfect Circle, The Who and countless others.
Additionally, Chamberlain has provided his talents on soundtracks, collaborating with composers such as Hans Zimmer, Marco Beltrami, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Jon Brion including the Man of Steel and Frozen movie soundtracks to name a few.
Among other music industry nominations, awards and accolades, Matt has been named “Studio Drummer of the Year” multiple times by Modern Drummer Magazine, Academy of Country Music’s “Drummer of the Year”, DRUM! Magazine’s “Studio Drummer of the Year” and named one of “The Top 10 Session/Solo Drummers “by Music Radar.
