Fraser Jones, president of Independent Audio, announced that it has been appointed the exclusive U.S. distributor for Milab Microphones product line manufactured in Sweden. Independent Audio has distribution responsibility for the full range of Milab’s custom-made microphones and accessories. Jones said: “We are proud to distribute yet another high-end, cutting edge European product line.”
Jones said, “We are very happy to provide access to the Milab Microphones product range through our established network of premier US pro audio dealers. It is an added pleasure to have been distributing Pearl Microphones, Milab’s sister brand, for over 20 years, and now add the Milab brand as well. Milab said Independent Audio was selected because, “we have been very impressed with your handling of the Pearl product line, and particularly with your customer service.”
With a manufacturing history that dates back to the 1940s, Milab is one of the oldest continuously operating classical microphone manufacturers in the world. Milab microphones have been crafted entirely by hand in Sweden for more than 80 years. Every microphone is measured independently, and shipped with its own individual frequency chart.
