After calling its Dudley Street location home for over the last decade,  Mojotone is relocating to a new facility in the new year.

Aside from a new address and a bigger building, the move will give the firm expanded manufacturing capabilities; additional production lines in a newly renovated woodshop; amp and pick-up manufacturing departments will increase manufacturing capabilities with reduced lead times and it will also have larger warehousing and fulfilment operations with its part inventory doubling in size.

The firm has purchased additional CNC lasers, woodworking equipment, and winding machines to support customer demands, improve output and offer new services.

Its new facility will include a learning center where it will offer amp-building seminars, amp repair classes, pickup winding classes, and a wide variety of other topics related to their  Build, Modify and  Repair initiative.

CEO Michael McWhorter, explained: “We had reached maximum capacity in our current space a while ago and we’ve spent the last two years carefully planning  and designing every detail of this new 40,000 sq ft space so that Mojotone can provide an even better experience to each and every one of our valued customers. We are excited to make this move and start 2018 off in a big way!”

COO Bob Ferraro added: “Expanding the footprint of the Mojotone operation will allow us to focus the entire Mojo Team and every function of our business on serving our customers better. Consolidation of focus and additional space will allow for limitless improvements and efficiencies to the quality products and services they have always trusted us to deliver.”

“Personally, I’m looking forward to putting everything that comes along with this new facility in process for all of our valued customers.”, continued the firm’s Andrew Simmons, head of artist and OEM relations. “OEMs will rest easy knowing their products are manufactured in this brand new, well equipped facility and  Artists traveling through the Carolinas will have the opportunity to demo Mojotone products in our brand new private demonstration room. A major component to the success of Mojotone has always been putting our customers first above everything else and  this move really allows us to grow our capabilities and services to help our customers grow their businesses and meet their customer’s demands “

McWhorter concluded: “Our roots are in the repair business and we are honored to have grown to be a company that supports boutique builders, brands, DIY enthusiasts, repair shops, guitar techs, artists… you name it. If it involves an electric guitar or an amplifier, we at Mojotone strive to be the experts to help you whether you Build, Modify or Repair. We look forward building on our passion in the years ahead.”
