Music & Arts has announced the acquisition of Great Southern Music in Gainesville, Florida.
The store will continue to serve the residents of Gainesville and surrounding towns in Alachua County including Arredondo, Tioga, West Hills, and Jonesville with expanded services, now including private and group lessons, instrument rentals, repairs, and a wide assortment of instruments and accessories. Located at 6787 W Newberry Road in Gainesville, the store will also serve school music programs throughout nearby counties.
“For many years, Great Southern Music has been the local music store in the Gainesville area for performing musicians of all styles and levels. We’re excited to continue to provide the best in instruments, lessons, rentals and repair services to Gainesville and surrounding communities,” shares Music & Arts president Steve Zapf.
