MXL has announced that Musician’s Friend will receive its Dealer of the Year award. Musician’s Friend president Gene Jolly and VP of Merchandising Chris Tso will accept the award. Musician’s Friend will carry MXL’s 20th Anniversary microphones, to be released later this year.
Musician’s Friend carries the largest selection of MXL microphones, including the best-selling 900 Series and now the 800 Series. The Dealer of the Year award acknowledges both their success in selling MXL microphones and their ongoing promotion of the brand.
MXL International Sales Manager Kevin Weiss says, “MXL is grateful for the terrific year we had with Musician’s Friend in 2013. The Dealer of the Year award is our way of saying thank you to Gene and Chris for their outstanding support of MXL. We are looking forward to another great year in 2014 with the popularity of MXL products continuing to rise. ”
Musician’s Friend will stock all three models of the 20th Anniversary Series, which are: Genesis-SE, R144-SE, and 2001-SE. All three microphones will feature pearl white bodies with gold grills and markings. MXL is celebrating its twentieth anniversary since the development of its first microphone, the 2001, in 1994.
