On the heels of the May 13 notice from the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative proposing a new harmonized tariff schedule for approximately $300 billion worth of imports from China, of which, includes musical instruments, NAMM will present “Tariff Update Webinar: The 411 on Submitting Comments, Requesting Exemptions and Registering to Testify.”
The conference call/webinar will be held on Thursday, June 6, 4 p.m. PDT and addresses the current status and state of play of Chinese import tariffs and advises members on “how to” submit comments, request exemptions and register to testify at public hearings.
