Long-serving Mathieson has stepped up from his role as general manager of the UK office. He previously worked for the guitar giant’s former UK distributor Arbiter as sales director and joined Fender when the distributor went under. He assumes the role vacated by Gordon Raison in 2012, who left for Roland.
The new role will see him take responsibility for Fender’s sales and marketing business in Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Iberia and Central and Eastern Europe.
