New Shockmounts from Gator

Gator Frameworks launched two new deluxe shock mounts to reduce unwanted noise when recording. The new shockmounts consist of a universal pencil-style condenser model and a deluxe universal model.

The deluxe universal mic shockmount (GFW-MIC-SM1855) preserves sound quality by isolating your small or large-diaphragm condenser mic from the stand, reducing noise from mic stand vibrations and accidental nudges. The shockmount supports most studio mics ranging from 18-55mm in diameter and features three (3) centrally mounted rubber gripping clamps that adjust to secure the mic. The stand adapter features an angle adjustment knob and comes with 5/8″–27 standard mic threads for compatibility with most mic stands on the market. The deluxe universal mic shockmount has many applications, from podcast and content streaming needs to placing overhead mics above a drum kit.

The universal pencil-style condenser mic shockmount (GFW-MIC-SM1525) supports most studio mics ranging from 15-25mm in diameter and features dual, tight rubber bands on the top and bottom to firmly grip and comfortably suspend the mic. The stand adapter features an angle adjustment knob and comes with 5/8″–27 standard mic threads.
