Odyssey backs brass festival

JHS’ Odyssey brass brand is appearing at one of the UK’s top brass festivals this weekend.

 

The Royal Northern College of Music’s Brass Band Festival is the only place to see all of Britain’s top brass bands in a non-competitive environment, including the current National, Open and European Champions. 

 

Each year the RNCM Brass Band Festival presents a number of significant premières and 2017 is no exception. Six of the foremost bands in the UK are joined by world-class soloists plus outstanding student bands from the RNCM and the Junior RNCM and the James Madison University Brass Band, who hail from Virginia, USA.

 

Odyssey instruments will be on show during the festival, with designer and Master Crafstman Peter Pollard on hand to talk to visitors, and expand on the features and benefits of the range, with special emphasis on the Odyssey Brass Band series in particular.

 

Starting Friday 27th January until Sunday 29th, the Festival is held on site at the RCNM on Oxford Road, Manchester
