Acoustic guitarists, live performers, and DJs searching for a powerful, compact, and highly portable speaker systems will find their ideal solution in the new LN1263 Column Array from Peavey®. Offering a clean design in a low-profile package, this unit has no visible cables in mono operation, making it well-suited for applications where speakers should be heard and not seen. Combining smart design and state-of-the-art features, the LN1263 offers plentiful and accommodating options, regardless of the user’s level of experience.

The LN1263 Column Array utilizes 1,200 watts of potential maximum power, enabled by 12 2.75” custom drivers in the mid-high column and a custom 12” driver for the subwoofer, delivering 127 dB maximum SPL and frequency response of 35 Hz to 20 kHZ. The satellite speaker features rugged aluminum housing and a quick attachment design, and the subwoofer is built from multi-ply birch, making it both durable and lightweight. Each satellite features a speaker stand and a twist-lock speaker cable connection, which allows the speaker to be positioned remotely for applications where stereo configuration or additional coverage is desired. Overall, the column-array unit weighs 10 pounds less than its nearest competitor, making it an easy-to-carry PA system that can be moved by one person in one trip.

In fact, the release of the LN1263 marks the first column array designed specifically with the solo acoustic guitarist in mind. The onboard six-channel mixer features four combo inputs, each with the option of selecting a guitar input. Each channel also offers a compressor as well as mute and line indicators.

Central to the LN1263’s ease of use and operation is the modern DSP, as well as an onboard LCD screen and remote control via Bluetooth using a custom iOS application for control. “Simple” mode in the app simplifies features like compression for novice users, while “Professional” mode allows complete control for more advanced sound tweaks. There are plenty of settings to satisfy, including seven onboard EQ presets and eight onboard effects, along with an independent sub-level control. Two additional media channels feature stereo ¼’’ inputs and streaming audio Bluetooth in, which can handle a separate device other than the one controlling the array. A security lock and the ability to save and store scene presets adds to the unit’s smart features.

Whether users are looking for a discrete system in a church or convention, or simply need a compact solution that can be easily moved into a club or bar, Peavey’s LN1263 Column Array offers best-in-class feature-to-value and performance. Learn more about the LN1263 by visiting www.peavey.com.
