Pioneer DJ has made their DJS-1000 stand-alone DJ sampler compatible with Splice, the cloud-based music production platform used by over 1.6 million producers.
Working in partnership with Splice, the DJS-1000 is the second product Pioneer DJ has enabled to connect to the extensive sample library Splice Sounds.
Splice Sounds revolutionized sample hunting when it launched in 2015 as the first subscription-based sample library, enabling users to download individual sounds rather than buy entire sample packs. Currently, new samples are released every week from over 90 leading labels, as well as renowned artists.
The new integration seamlessly connects the DJS-1000 to the world’s largest collection of high-quality samples and loops. Users can pick your favorite individual samples from the Splice Sounds catalog of over 2 million sounds from world-class providers, build and save custom sample kits, and program 32-step sequences on the web and on mobile devices using Beatmaker – Splice’s online sequencer.
The Project files are compatible with the DJS-1000 and the TORAIZ SP-16, so users can take the music they have created in the studio with the TORAIZ SP-16 and play it intuitively on the spot with the DJS-1000 in your DJ and live performances.
