The first floor will be dedicated to drums, including a Yamaha and Mapex installation; a Roland electronic Demo Centre; a ‘Cave of Cymbals’, composed of major cymbal brands Zildjian, Sabian and Paiste; and the first-ever fully-functional, acoustically-treated drum booth in a PMT Store.

The high-tech area will feature walls of synthesizers and keyboards from Roland, Yamaha and Nord, plus a bespoke Korg installation.

There will also be a an in-store studio monitor reference centre, where you can test studio monitors, audio interfaces and headphones from Yamaha, Genelec, KRK, M-Audio, Sennheiser, Mackie, Shure, Universal Audio, Focusrite, RME and Beyerdynamic in a music studio-style environment;  a PA and Live Music Stage, where you can test the latest PA speakers and systems and watch in-store masterclasses, clinics and performances.

And, lastly, a DJ area holding stock from Pioneer, Numark, Novation, Native Instruments and Roland.

The opening will include an exclusive competition for those visiting the shop in October to win a Taylor guitar, in-store offers and a giveaway that includes guitar pedals, strings, drumsticks and more.
