Polar takes on Tonebone in UK

Radial Engineering has appointed Polar Audio as exclusive distributor for the Tonebone range of effects and accessories in the UK.

Radial sales manager, Roc Bubel, said: “Ever since the British Invasion, the UK has established itself as a beacon for the sales and marketing of musical gear. This strategically important country plays a critical role in how music is played and sets the trend as to which equipment is used to create the performance. This is eventually echoed in countries around the globe. With the global economy slowly improving, we are following suit with a number of new Tonebone products along with this important appointment.”

The Tonebone line includes distortion and effects pedals, switchers, preamps and buffers. The range is used by artists including James Taylor, Joe Bonamassa, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, Antoine Dufour, and Zac Brown.

The deal does not include Radial Engineering branded products, which contnue to be distributed in the UK via Shure Distribution.
