Ambitious dealer Red Dog Music, has added a third store, acquiring Leeds-based pro audio specialist Production Room.
The purchase sees Production Room added to Red Dog stores in London and Edinburgh, and it will eventually be rebranded as it extends its musical instrument offering as well.
Reciprocally, all three stores will expand their pro audio areas, and will carry the Production Room branding.
As part of the acquisition, Paul Germain and Alison Lynch from Production Room will join the Red Dog Music board of directors as sales director and operations director.
Mike Fletcher will become associate director for the London area and Richard Powell associate director for commercial audio, developing b2b sales across the country. Dave Tynan and Richard Lee will continue to manage the Edinburgh and Leeds stores.
