Roland is suing InMusic and its Alesis electronic drum brand for alleged copyright infringement.
The legal action, filed on 19th August, relates to eight US patents for electronic drums and cymbals. Roland is seeking undisclosed damages and a permanent injunction against the products being sold in the US.
