Lauren Kosty has become the latest artist to join Sakae Drums’ growing roster of endorsees.
Kosty is a multi percussionist from Los Angeles, based in London, who has appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, Puff Daddy at the American Music Awards and Cirque Du Soleil on MTV. She is currently touring with crossover tenor Russell Watson as part of the Songs from the Heart UK tour.
She said: “I’m thrilled and honoured to join the Sakae Team. Versatility is important to me and Sakae offers a broad range of timbres that lend the appropriate character to any musical setting. The tone is clear, the look is classy, and the craftsmanship is faultless.”
In addition, Peter Howell has also signed up. Through his work as a founder member of Jive Aces, is recognised as one of the leading Swing drummers in the world – he is particularly known for his driving double shuffle and swinging brush work and performs around 300 shows a year with The Jive Aces, all over the world.
He added: “I can honestly say that my Sakae Trilogy kit is the best drum kit that I’ve ever played. And they look amazing too – I am truly in love with it! The Sakae team are true artists in the field of drum making.”
