Plugivery.com has appointed Ashley Smith as the creative development and product specialist for all their distributed and partnered software brands that include Applied Acoustics Systems, BBE Sound Software, Flux, GRM Tools, Ircam Lab, Nomad Factory, Metric Halo, Nugen Audio, and many more.
During the AES show in New York last month, Plugivery sought out and obtained the rights for the software manufacturers Uebershall, Metric Halo, Overloud and Matthew Lane for worldwide distribution*.
Ashley’s work experience in the music industry is extensive. He has worked with numerous manufacturers/companies (ex. former QA Manager, Beta Test Co-Ordinator and Senior Tech Support Specialist for Slate Digital, Beta Tester and Creative Development Resource for the likes of Avid, Focusrite, FXpansion, Native Instruments, Overloud, SSL and more).
Ashley is also an accomplished Recording/Mix Engineer and Assistant with credits including: Brad Whitford of legendary band Aerosmith, Derek St. Holmes of Ted Nugent band, Leona Lewis, X-Factor UK, American Idol just to name a few. An impressive career.
