Spector UK has announced the immediate availability of new short-scale Bantam series bass guitars in the UK.
Officially launched at NAMM 2018, the new series comprises of right and left handed four-string models available in Black Cherry Gloss, Black Stain Gloss and White Gloss finishes. Featuring a fully chambered alder body and quilted maple top carved in Spector’s famous NS shape.
The basses feature a 30” scale length, 3-ply bolt-on hard maple neck with an inlay-free Indian rosewood fingerboard. Electronics come in the form of a pair of EMG 35DC pickups and an EMG BTS active EQ circuit for maximum versatility that perform with any choice of amp and effects.
“With our new Bantam bass we are able to precision craft a high quality short scale bass at a lower price than past models,” said PJ Rubal, vice president of Spector. “The Bantam 4 is a full sounding bass that we’re sure will stun bassists everywhere”.
Bantam models retail for £1660 (R/H models) and £1825 (L/H models) and are available exclusively from UK distributors Barnes & Mullins.
