St. Louis Music is proud to announce a new partnership with Tomasi Flutes, and will be distributing the brand’s instruments in the U.S. and Canada.
“I was drawn to Tomasi Flutes because they’re well-built and fun to play,” says Craig Denny, vice president – Band & Orchestra at St. Louis Music. “They possess all the ‘must-haves’ in a boutique flute as well as headjoint options rarely offered by other brands in this price category. They will do quite well in the North American market.”
Tomasi Flutes was founded by Werner Tomasi, who’s approach to the flute is inspired by his many years as a decorated and classically trained musician. Tomasi Flutes offers three series of flutes: the 09, 10, and 10S series. The 9 series features an .835 Solid Silver headjoint on a silver-plated nickel silver body, while the 10 series features a .925 Solid Silver headjoint on a silver-plated nickel silver body. The 10S series features a .925 Solid Silver headjoint on a .925 Solid Silver body. All series also feature French pointed key arms, E-mechanism, offset G, B foot, and come complete with a case and accessories. Headjoint options include a Grenadilla lip-plate and riser, Solid Silver lip-plate and riser, and a Solid Silver lip-plate with a 14k Gold riser. These options are offered in all three Series.
