Specially adapted upturned boats, which were part of the City of London Festival Street Guitars initiative to encourage people to play, are now up for grabs.
The Rock the Boat boats were situated at various sites around the centre of London, encouraging people to sit in them and knock out a quick tune. They would make excellent additions to any retailer looking for a point of difference.
Having already been used by over one million people in, London’s Square Mile, 12 of the boats are for sale in various sizes. Each comes with a Pilgrim acoustic guitar sheltered inside a brightly coloured, upturned, recycled boat. John Hornby Skewes supplied the Paul Tebbut designed Pilgrim VPG001N – chosen not just because of their tone and projection but also their unique construction which made them reilisent to being handled by the public.
