The Music People (TMP) has announced the promotion of longtime employee Tom Tedesco to president and CEO. Sharon Hennessey and John Hennessey, current co-presidents, will be appointed chairwoman and chairman. Jam Industries, a leading value-added pro-AVL distributor in the US and global accessories supplier, which recently rebranded as Exertis | Jam, acquired TMP in 2020 and has facilitated TMP’s continued growth and this opportunity.
Over the years, Tom has worked his way up in the company, and in his most recent position of vice president of Sales and Business Development, led the company’s continued growth in all the markets it serves domestically and globally.
“Tom has demonstrated excellent judgment and strong leadership with a focus on our relationships. The time is right for him as well as the business to take this logical next step, and we couldn’t be more proud of him and the whole team,” said Sharon Hennessey.
